We Practice Medicine, Not Insurance!

Fact: There is a huge difference between the care obtained through insurance vs. that obtained through "fee for service" (private direct) care services like our own...which tend to give you not only a real Doctor but also what Doctors know (only) as the best care for your specific situation. This occurs professionally, also, without interference (by your insurance). Using insurance comes with crowds, and shortages of both TIME and RESOURCES - as determined by your financially-biased, greedy, non-medically licensed and very self-seeking "third party. Know it or not, you are basically just placing yourself as another "Bozo on the Bus" trying to receive "allowed care" in this "third party" system - all such care then being dictated by Insurance, not "your Doctor" (who, on the "Plan," is just the Insurance Company's "boy" or "girl" for all practical purposes). Such "third party" (non-direct care) systems clearly limit what any Doctor can do for you (which is why we don't take this known SCAM of Insurance at our office any more). Insurance is in charge of all it controls - which is definitely "your (plan) doctor"'s decisions, care, time & resources. Haven't you ever wondered why "your Doctor" has so little time to see you, treats you less than "best," is not able to decide how long you should be in the hospital, what meds you are to be prescribed, tests you get, and on and on and on? Get a grip, Insurance Patient. "Your Doctor" is NOT your Doctor, s/he's your Insurance Company's Employee, working for that conditional reimbursement - when "allowed," etc.

The north knoxville Sniffles Clinic + office is able to see you and yours without any wait (most days) or crowds (always) that usually occur at other walk-in clinics all around town. You won’t believe how fast your access becomes to this higher level of care – just because you “pay as you go” direct – instead of allowing your insurance to control your "insurance doctor's" office, where you have to wade through Insurance crowds each day right there ahead of you just to be seen...by a Nurse (most often). As a throw-back to the way it used to be, "Doctor at your Door" and "The Sniffles Clinic" team up to bring you a private medical practice - the way it used to be - where the Doctor is again in charge of your care (vs. your Insurance) and has only you, his Patient, to help and pay attention to all day long. You may think this silly, but the fact is "Insurance Doctors" have too many to see a day to "take care of you" well, just "doing the math"! Away from illegitimate constraints placed on Doctors by your own insurance company, this one private "ffs" doctor can now "Practice Medicine - not Insurance" just for you! What does that mean? It means Dr. Smith is not held back from seeing and treating you as only your insurance company "allows" for your care...like your insurance plan doctor is today. All Doctors know the way insurance forces them to practice a level of "care" that is NOT at all consistent with what Doctors know to be more appropriate (yes, you heard this correct) for your best care. But to continue on the Plan (of Providers - "allowed" by your powerful insurance company), today's modern Insurance Doctor must do as Insurance says, just like being a part of the Mafia, and s/he cannot do the things s/he knows to be best for you...quite honestly. This is a working and widely accepted "scam of insurance" that we chose to "opt out" of in late 1999...against the tide. Doing it without insurance may seen "bad" but in all reality, it's the only good way you get to have a "Real Doctor" able to care for just your interests today...vs. being held back to "allowable" treatments so your Insurance Company can keep most of your premium money, etc....only most don't know this is occuring on a daily basis, to them. It's time to learn "what's really going on" with your insurance and how this is hurting you (and "your doctor") directly - every time you access (not so good insurance) healthcare" today. Believe me, only the older crowd knows what's been done to them today through Insurance! Doctors used to be truly "your doctor" instead of "playing the game of insurance" for the money...on both sides of the Doctor-Insurance Fence!
